Mary Ann Wagner

Mary Ann Wagner, 88 of Palmyra Township, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Cleveland Metro Health System, Glick Center.

She was born on May 24, 1935, in Akron OH, the daughter of the late John and Margaret Marko and sister to the late John, Mike, Ed and Steve Marko.

She married the late Wallace (Wally) B Wagner, Sr on April 2, 1952. As a homemaker, along with her husband, they enjoyed farming and lived in the childhood home of Clark Gable. She enjoyed her horses, numerous pets throughout the years, and her craft shows where she sold her ceramics. She was a woman of many talents.

Survivors include her two sons, Wallace (Ava) Wagner of Rootstown and Russell (Michelle) Wagner of Palmyra Township, grandchildren Jonathan, Angela, Samantha and Rhett, great grandson Tony Wagner, sister Eleanor Lalos and stepfather Emery Simon. She will be missed by all her nieces and nephews, Emily, Helen and her beloved cat Oscar, whom she loved dearly.

Memorials may be made to the Portage County APL. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the medical teams at Cleveland Metro Health System, Glick Center and UH Portage Center for all of their care and support.

At her request cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
