Marlene was born in Delbarton, West Virginia to parents Alvis and Okie (Ooten) Runyon on September 17, 1938. Marlene spent most of her time as a homemaker and was a very active member of the Ravenna Assembly of God church for over 40 years where she also enjoyed her involvement with the Women’s Ministry. She was a gifted helper, always thinking of others and was an encouraging soul. Her family was the most important part of her life and loved spending time with them.
Marlene is survived by her son A. Michael (Cheryle) White and her grandchildren Jason White, Julie (Brian) McGalliard, Kenny (Megan) White, 3 great-grandchildren and one on the way. She also leaves her siblings Bud (Sandy) Runyon, Flo Long and many loving family members.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Charles White.
Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Gary Beck, will be held at 11AM on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the Ravenna Assembly of God Church, 6401 St. Rt. 14, Ravenna. Interment at Maple Grove Cemetery will immediately follow.
In honor of Marlene, memorial donations in her name can be made to the Women’s Ministry at the Ravenna Assembly of God and would be greatly appreciated.
