John was born on April 5, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Theodore and Valasta (Neuzil) Oden.
John graduated from Kenston High School with the class of 1973 then went on to enjoy a long and successful career as an electrician and owner of Portage Electric. He enjoyed his association with Ducks Unlimited and the NRA. In his spare time, he liked to ride horses, his motorcycle and enjoyed duck hunting and fishing. John loved all animals.
He is survived by his children Jennifer (Jason) Hunter, Sarah (David) Stahl, Katie Oden and Joe (Emma) Oden. John also leaves his beloved grandchildren Penny & Alex Hunter, Madison, Charlie & Harper Stahl, his sister Linda (Joe) Bagley and many loving nieces and nephews.
John was proceeded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received to celebrate his Life at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St, Ravenna, on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 4pm -6pm.
