Ivy Williams

She was born November 17, 1949, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Thomas David and Jessica (Lazear) Wood. Ivy graduated from Southeast High School and later from nursing school. She was a longtime member of Grace Church of Rootstown where she was active in the choir and several other church groups. Ivy was a master gardener and was a member of 4-H as a child, and later volunteered with 4-H when her children were members.

On January 17, 1969, she married her beloved husband Charles F. Williams. Sadly, he passed away December 31, 2022. Ivy is also preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Betsie Williams.

She is survived by her daughters: Jessie Orms, Mollie Hartong, and Annie Nelson, her 5 grandchildren, her sister Melody Smith, and her brother David (Cheryl) Wood.

Friends and family will be received Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with a funeral service officiated by Pastor Tim Paulding at 12:00 PM at the Edinburg Cemetery Chapel.
