Dale Whittaker

He was born October 11, 1931, in Akron, Ohio, to parents Lonnie Alvin and Prudy (McBroom) Whittaker.

Dale retired from Goodyear as a machinist and was a faithful, longtime member of Liberty Bible Church. He enjoyed long walks, camping, Gospel singing, and moments he spent with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Helen A. Whittaker and his brother Arnold Whittaker.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years Patricia Whittaker, his children: Diane (Jim) Bell, Sharon (Dennis) Ebie, Duane (Sandy) Whittaker, and Loran (Barbara) Whittaker, as well as 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, his brothers Floyd and Lloyd Whittaker, along with many other extended family and friends.

Friends and family will be received Monday, December 17, 2018, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with funeral services officiated by Pastor Paul Phillips at 12:00 PM at Liberty Bible Church, 2215 State Route 183, Atwater, OH 44201. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna.
