Charlotte Ann Polizzi

Charlotte was born on June 14, 1932 in Alliance, Ohio to parents Charles “Cherry” and Mary (Grama) Rufi. She was retired after 30 years of working as a mutual clerk at Thistledown Racetrack. Charlotte enjoyed knitting and was known for her extensive collection of rooster artifacts. She had traveled extensively with her mother over the years and so very much enjoyed those times.

Charlotte is survived by her daughter Cheryl Scott and son Alfred “Al” (Sue) Polizzi. Her grandson Zachary Scott and many loving family members also survive her.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jerry Rufi.

Friends will be received at Immaculate Conception Church, 409 W. Main St., Ravenna, on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 10:00am until 11:00am. Mass of Christian Burial, officiated Rev. William Kraynak, will begin at 11:00am. Inurnment at St. Mary’s Cemetery will take place at a later date.
