Bonnie R Hutchison

Bonita “Bonnie” Rae Lindsey Hutchison, age 85 of Randolph, Ohio, began a new journey with the Lord on January 28, 2024 at Accent Care In-Patient Hospice Center in Cumming, Georgia, surrounded by family.

Bonnie was born on June 5, 1938 in Bedford, Pennsylvania to parents Ken and Verl (Reed) Lindsey and resided in Randolph for approximately 70 years. She retired from Waterloo Local Schools in 2000 after 30 years of dedicated service. She was a member of the Atwater United Methodist Church and loved serving her community in many ways.

Bonnie was the beloved wife of Gary Hutchison for 47 years. She was the proud mother of son, John (Jackie), Cumming, Georgia and daughter Laura (Greg Elliott), Dawsonville, Georgia; Grandmother of Blake Hutchison; Sister of Carol Peterson; Aunt of many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gary, both of her parents, and brother Ron Lindsey.

She lived her life with Christian faith and love that came through in every aspect of her life, from leading the church youth group for many years, to loving every child that came through the Waterloo Elementary School and sharing a smile/story with all who crossed her path. Her kind heart and sweet smile will be remembered by all.

Bonnie’s final resting place will be Hillside Cemetery in Randolph, Ohio, next to Gary.

A Memorial Service will be held in Bonnie’s honor on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Atwater United Methodist Church (6380 Waterloo Rd., Atwater), followed by a Celebration of Life starting at 2:00 p.m. at the Randolph Community Center (1657 State Rte. 44, Randolph) where family and friends will be received. Desserts will be shared in honor of sweet memories.
