Blanche Taylor

She was born October 3, 1930, in Rootstown, Ohio, to parents Ralph and Flora (Fox) Riemenschneider. Blanche was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, getting her hair done, buying lottery tickets and completing word find puzzles. Most of all, she cherished taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren. Blanche was also an avid Cleveland sports fan and attended all of her granddaughter’s sporting events as well.

Blanche is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years Carl E. Taylor, her son Steve Taylor, granddaughters: Jessica (Will Morris) Taylor and Ashley (Joseph) Teeple, as well as their mother Denise Taylor. She is also survived by her sisters: Hazel McEwen, Norma Sands, and sister-in-law Shirley Riemenschneider, along with generations of nieces and nephews.

Blanche was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Bertha Shull, Mabel Lansinger, Paul, Elmer, Russel, and Freda Riemenschneider.

Friends and family will be received Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Private funeral services will be held and final resting place will be Grandview Memorial Park.
