She was born April 26, 1926, in Warren, Ohio, and was a longtime resident of Edinburg Township. Barbara worked for the transportation department at Southeast Schools for many years as a bus driver and later as a secretary.
Barbara is survived by her sons: Cliff Diehl of Alliance, Chris (Debbie) Diehl of Edinburg, and Woody (Jeanne) Diehl of Wauseon; grandchildren: Michael Diehl, Greg (Krista) Diehl, Jasmyn Thomas, Charles Diehl II, Nicole Diehl, James Swigart, and Lynnette Godfrey; great-grandchildren: Reese Diehl, Christopher Diehl, Makayla Diehl, Braden Thomas Jr., Alexa Thomas, and John Paul Swigart.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Austa (Cole) Kean, her husband Charles C. Diehl, her daughter Patricia Ann Fleming, and her grandson Jack Swigart.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Jody Hill at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at the Edinburg Cemetery Chapel. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.wood-kortright-borkoski.com.
