Barbara A. Brown

She was born November 6, 1948, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents John H. and Rita M. (Jenior) Brown. Barbara graduated from Randolph High School, Kent State University, and then received her Masters Degree from the University of Akron. She was a certified public accountant, and retired from Meaden & Moore.

Barb was a devoted member of St. Joseph Parish and was involved with several church organizations, including the bereavement luncheons and the Randolph-Suffield-Atwater Food Shelf. Barb was an amazing cook and enjoyed baking. She was a passionate adventurer and world-traveler! She has traversed the United States, Mexico, Spain, Hungary, Pompeii Italy, and even Machu Picchu Peru enjoying the sights, and learning the cultures.

Barb is survived by her brother George (Rebecca) Brown, as well as her loving nieces and nephews: John Brown, Matthew (Mabinty) Brown, Tasha Adkins, and her great-nieces and great-nephew: Tori, Nick, Rebecca, and another who is expected any day and will be named after Barbara. She also leaves behind many dear friends, including her lifelong friend Emma Wages.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Thomas Brown.

Friends and family will be received Monday, March 25, 2024, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Reverend Zachary Coulter at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
