Abbie Carol (LaRose) Gungle

She was born April 12, 1940, in Akron, Ohio, to parents Thomas Paul and Helen Kathryn (Steffee) LaRose. Carol was a devoted homemaker and faithful member of Liberty Bible Church. She loved all animals, but especially loved feeding her birds and deer.

Carol is survived by her daughter Antoinette LaRose-Tanner and son-in-law Mark Tanner, as well as her brother Jeff (Brenda) LaRose. Her memory will also be cherished by her grandchildren: Jeremiah Spencer, Nathaniel (Amber) Spencer, Tiffany Tanner, and Miranda Tanner, along with her great-grandchildren Brooklynn, Gabrielle, and Kyler Spencer, and Orion Kiser.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Joseph Gungle.

Carol’s wishes for cremation are being honored. Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, from 12:00 - 1:00 PM with a memorial service officiated by Pastor Paul Phillips following at 1:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna.
