William L. Deaton, 72, passed away on February 8, 2016. Born in Mecklenburg County on January 24, 1944 to the late Robert Deaton and Caroline Betts Deaton. He was proud of his service in the U.S. Navy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 12 p.m., Westminster Presbyterian Church, 301 E. Whitaker Mill Rd., Raleigh. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service, from 11 a.m. until noon.
