This is a sad day to find the message through family that Wendy had passed away last July.  Our family enjoyed times together in Maryland as we grew up and later we would visit on trips south.  I still visit her parents' graves when we visit Maryland.  They are a special part of us as family.  
I am so happy to know of the many special friends she and Jill found in Cary.  It is a beautiful community.  Wishing each of you the joy that comes along after the pain of death as you continue to remember such a beautiful person.

Very very sad to find out Wendy is  no longer with us.

Wendy (and Jill) were my neighbors for almost 2 decades. I miss coming back from long business trips and seeing them on the front porch catching me up on neighborhood news. In recent years, it was Wendy along with our neighbors enjoying her front porch greeting everyone who walks by. The silence in that corner of Riverwalk Circle is quite palpable in recent weeks. Your laughter is missed by ALL. Thanks for being a part of our lives and for being a model neighbor Wendy! We miss you!  

I did not know Wendy personally.  A close friend shared with me that Wendy was in need of prayer and so I reached out to my family to pray along with me for her healing and salvation.   These are hard times for all the family and friends left to mourn this loss.  Praying for you and your family during this difficult time. I hope you feel the power of God’s love and His presence in your lives.  May he comfort you and help you navigate this life knowing that only in Him you will find strength and peace.  "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16  God bless you.

Wendy was my older Bond cousin, and as a child I saw her as poised and beautiful.
It wasn’t until I met her as an adult that I  found out how funny she was,  how readily she laughed at herself, and how much she and Jill loved to laugh.  Her rich voice was warm and inviting, and it brings me great sorrow to learn of her death.

Wendy I will miss you so much. You had a very special relationship with my Mom and I am grateful to you for keeping in touch with her. I loved your deep laugh and your wise spirit. Please know I will always hold your memory close.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my dear niece Wendy. We have shared so many phone calls, stories and laughter over the years. I send my deepest sympathy to her dear friends. I am grateful to have had Wendy’s loving spirit in my life. I will be holding her and all of you in my prayers.  

My life won't be the same without you, my sweet friend.  I am so thankful for all the great times we shared, but hoped it would be for many more years to come.  
I will always remember the stories of our families that we shared so often, and how we laughed until we cried at some of the antics.
I will miss your huge smile! Even through all your pain you managed to muster up  that beautiful smile.
I will miss you more than words can say, but the memories will live in my heart forever!

Wendy and I became next-door neighbors in 2004, and soon afterwards became friends.  One of my favorite memories was of Wendy and I putting together her patio furniture over several hours (possibly days), which came in hundreds of pieces. She always managed to find humor in every conversation, laughing heartily, even with all of her physical issues and challenges.   Zvonko and I will miss Wendy deeply, but she is forever interwoven into our hearts.

Oh how I will miss the late night, hours long conversations. Is this reality?? Are BOTH my favorite Bond ladies gone? There are no words to describe how much I will miss you. The laughter is what I will miss the most. Your laugh would get me so tickled, and then we would laugh that much harder. Don't worry... I won't mention the snorts....Oh Wendy... I love you...I will never forget you my beautiful friend. You will live forever in mine, Kevin, and my kids hearts. #unbreakableBOND

She, Liz and I were the Golden Girls, who shared a lot of tears and laughter in the last six months. We recently celebrated her 70th birthday the Wednesday before she passed away. I will always miss her.

Rest easy Wendy, taking care of you as your caregiver was the best I will cherish.  You were kind despite the pain and all you were going through!
