Mary was born October 25, 1932 in Johnson City, TN to the late George Black and Eliza Schwartz Black.
Mary was preceded in death by four brothers; three sisters; and son-in-law, Arthur Everette Russell.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Rayburn Anderson; daughter, Dianne Anderson Russell; sons, Rayburn Craig Anderson, and Gregory James Anderson; and one granddaughter, Adriana Elizabeth Russell.
A funeral service will be held 2pm Friday, March 11, 2022 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh, NC 27609 with entombment to follow the service at Raleigh Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Thursday, March 10, 2022 at the funeral home.
