Marian B. Hall

She was a graduate of Flora McDonald College in Red Springs, NC.

Marian was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother who was a longtime member of White Memorial Presbyterian Church in Raleigh. She was a retired career math and science teacher and taught in Cumberland and Durham Counties as well as Raleigh city schools and the Governor Morehead School in Raleigh.

Marian was predeceased by her son James Cameron Hall.

She leaves behind her husband of 70 years, Charles F. Hall Sr. of Raleigh, her son Charles Frank Hall Jr. and his wife Rachel of Kinston, grandchildren: Alison Hall Thurman and her husband James of Garner, and Charles R. Hall and wife Jessica of Freemont, CA and a great-grandson William Robert Thurman. Marian also will be missed by brother and sister in law Harold and Ann Hall of Raleigh and first cousin D.C. Barrett and wife Mary of Hope Mills.

A time of visitation will be held from 11-12 Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Brown-Wynne 300 Saint Mary's St. Raleigh, where a funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Memorial contributions may be made to White Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1704 Oberlin Rd, Raleigh, NC 27608.
