In the late 80s, she made Raleigh her home and embarked on a new chapter of her life. It was there that she pursued her academic aspirations, completing her Master's degree in library science, deepening her love for literature and expanding her knowledge to benefit others.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Maggie found great joy in the company of her running club and card companions. These connections provided her with a strong network of support, happiness, and cherished memories. She also had a love for traveling and gardening, finding joy in exploring new places and appreciating the beauty of nature.

Maggie's strength and presence touched the lives of many. As a devoted mother of three, a proud grandmother of two, and a caring great-grandmother to four, her love and guidance leaves an enduring impact on her family. She will be deeply missed, and her memory will forever be held close to the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
