Lucette was born in Haiti on February 15, 1949, her parents were father Lucien Laurent and mother Imene Pamphile. Lucette was the youngest of twelve children, she came to Jesus Christ at twelve years old, and went to church every Sunday. Lucette married the late Pierre Millery Dieudonne in 1971 and moved to the United States where she became a US citizen in 1972. Lucette has three children that she loves dearly Florence, Marjorie, and Beatrice.
Lucette loved the Lord, she joined the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church on January 22, 2012, she was appointed and served as a Deaconess at Ebenezer on January 26, 2014. Lucette lived a simple life, and she will live again because Jesus is alive. It is well it is well with her soul.
Lucette is survived by her three daughters Florence, Marjorie, and Beatrice, her sister Mona Laurent, her nieces Marie Rose Laine-Sede, Rosaire Laine, Guerine Laine, Valerie Taitt, Assonda Paul, Dina Dieudonne, Lucie Antoine, Agathe Laurent and one of the niece's daughters Gaelle Roussel and Gamily Roussel. Lucette is also survived by her nephews Harry Dieudonne, Andral Paul, Fredo Paul, Daniel Paul, Karl Claude, Fred Claude, as well as other family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 2200 S. Alston Avenue, Durham. Burial followed in Raleigh Memorial Park.
