August 11, 1937 - November 12, 2020
We have received so many thoughts, prayers and notes over the past few days and weeks. We are so very appreciative and proud to carry on the legacy he and mom have created. This note, written by friend, and former Marine, Corporal Julian Terry captures the man we are so very proud to call husband and dad.
Dear Janet and Family,
I of course am profoundly saddened at the passing of your beloved Jack.
You must now bear the unbearable. He was a great man. Raised wonderful adoring children. Has a magnificent loving wife. Served his country. Was a true friend, a dedicated American worker. Was a follower of his faith. That’s a great man. I hope your memories, strength, love for each other, and faith will sustain all of you. As it says in the Marine Corps Hymn, “If you look on heaven’s scenes you’ll find the streets are guarded by United States Marines." I hope he passed with no regrets. I loved Jackie Boy. “Semper Fidelis“ my friend. Today I weep with all of you.
~JT
