Mr. Hand is survived by his wife, Marie G. Hand; sons, George Henry Hand, III, and his wife, Cheryl, of Acworth, GA, James T. Hand, and his wife, Connie, of Franklinton, NC; grandchildren, Megan, Kati, Adam, Steven; great grandchildren, Eleanor and Oliver; sister, Nancy Faussett, and her husband, William, of Doylestown, PA; and nephews, William and Barry.
A graveside service for George was held Monday, June 26, 2023 in Raleigh Memorial Park. Officiating was Rev. Craig Gaither.
