Michael was born October 27, 1953 to the late George Matthew and Mildred Tant Robinson Davis in Wake County, NC. Michael graduated from Cary High School and Montreal Anderson College and attended NC State University. He went on to have a career as a firefighter with the City of Raleigh Fire Department, retiring in 2006.
Michael is survived by his brothers, Edward Gregory Davis, of Greenville, NC, and Robert Page Davis, of Chapin, SC.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27612. To watch the service, please use the link under 'Donations' below.
