Don Young formerly of Wake Forest, North Carolina passed away on July 9, 2024 at age 68 from a serious illness. Don graduated with a BS in Physics from a university in Taiwan and a Master of Engineering from Polytechnic University of NYU. He worked in IT database management before his retirement. His favorite hobby was playing the violin. He also enjoyed traveling and food exploration.
Don was of quick wit and had an unbelievably kind heart. He was resilient and would take on whatever life brought him with a smile.
Don was a devoted "Husband" and "Life Long Partner" to Elizabeth, a loving brother to Shu Young, a doting and loving father to his son Alfred Young and daughter Rebecca Young.
He was blessed with additions to his family such as his daughter-in-law, April Moon and son-in-law, Michael Kim. He was further blessed with 4 grandchildren.
Don’s service is scheduled for July 26 at 11:30 A.M. in the Chapel Mausoleum at Raleigh Memorial Park with Minister Stephen Wright. The address is 7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh NC.
