That was a beautiful service. My thanks to all the family, friends and church members who arranged it and participated. Thank you to Kelly for her thoughtful and heartfelt words about her mom. They were a comfort to us all. 

I'm so sorry to hear of Chris' passing. She was always dressed impeccably and I admired how she attended Mass with Bruce on Saturday and then again on Sunday to sing. As a fellow soprano in the choir, I remember the smile she always gave me (and it still does) from this:

My name is Ginger. She said I'll have to remember you as a spice! I'll call you "Nutmeg". And indeed, she did every time I saw her. Her quirky sense of humor was endearing. She will be missed. 

I found this photo of Aunt Chris and Uncle Bruce at our wedding in 1986 and I thought I would share. We are so glad we got to see Chris and Bruce last month after so many years.  We had such a delightful conversation with Chris. It was so wonderful to spend time with them, so in love still. 

We are so sorry about her untimely passing. Sorry we will not be able to attend her memorial in person, but we will be there virtually. All our love to Bruce and all my cousins.

Chris was a kind and very sweet lady and will be sorely missed.  She was such a regular at mass, using her gifts to sing in the choir.  A couple of years ago she came up to me and was commenting about how she would see our family on Sunday mornings (since we sat near the ambo every week), and said "I watched you and your family grow up".  She sure did, and I know she'll be watching over all of us now.  Bruce, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.


I knew Chris from choir.  Loved her style. We used to laugh about all her shoes.  She was a fun, amazing friend.

When I  saw her the Sunday before last I would never have guessed she was sick. She looked so good. Bruce our prayers are with you and your family 🙏🙏 

Dear Bruce and family -  I send my deepest sympathy to you all on your great loss.  I met Chris 10 years ago when we used to have the ladies "lunch bunch".
