Beulah Mae King, 80, of Raleigh died peacefully Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at Duke Raleigh Hospital. Mrs. King was born in Pennsylvania, but grew up in Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late William and Bertha Julian. She has resided in Raleigh since the late 1950’s. Mrs. King loved the outdoors, gardening, animals, but most of all she was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her family will miss her greatly.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel George King, Sr. in 1986; and her dear brother, William Julian in 2002.
Surviving are her four children, Debbie King of Knightdale; Linda McCullers of Raleigh; Samuel George King, Jr. and wife Stacie of Knightdale; and Christine Ann Craig and husband Ron of Clayton; one granddaughter, Amanda Lynam and husband David of Wake Forest; and two great- grandchildren, Colby and Kennedy Lynam.
A visitation will be held Monday, Sept 24th from 6-8pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 Saint Mary’s Street, Raleigh.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, Sept. 25th at 1:00pm at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens, 7601 ACC Blvd Raleigh, NC 27617.
