Annie Ruth Perry

Annie Ruth was born in Franklin County on May 24, 1937. She graduated from Bunn High School and continued on to receive an Associates Degree from Hardbargers Business College.

Annie Ruth was married to Garland on September 3, 1955; they were married almost 65 years.

Annie Ruth worked at U.S.F & G. insurance company for 37 years. Once retired, she went back to work at Coastal Federal Credit Union for 18 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was also actively involved in her church, Neuse Baptist.

Annie Ruth is survived by her husband Garland, Daughter Kim, Son-in-Law Drew, grandchildren Jennifer (Brett), Jonathan (Brittany), great-grandchildren Jacob, Charlotte, Olivia, and Luke, sisters Doris (Buddy), Sue, Donna (Tom), brother George (Sue), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Annie Ruth is preceded in death by her father Robert C. Sledge, mother Maddie Ruth Sledge, sister Hilda Rogers.

The celebration of life will be held on August 30, 2020 at 2:30 pm at Neuse Baptist Church. Pastor Charles Hatcher of Neuse Baptist Church will be officiating.
