She was born on February 23, 1922 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, where she lived until 1952.
She worked as a lacemaker until 1980 and worked in Brooklyn, New York.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
