Mr. Howard Franklin (Frank) Palmer of 2611 June Johnson Road, died Tuesday, February, 28, 2012 in FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst at the age of 75. Mr. Palmer was born in Lincoln County, NC on January 21, 1937 to the late Frank W. Palmer and Mozelle Martin Palmer. He retired from the US Army and was the former owner and operator of The Nashville Station. Mr. Palmer was the owner of Palmers Mobile Home Park. Survivors include his wife, Ellie B. Palmer of Raeford; his former wife and the mother of his three children, Celia Palmer; two sons, Wayne Palmer of Fayetteville, and Joey Palmer and wife Pixie of Raeford; a daughter, Kay P. Bohler and husband Carl of Murrells Inlet, SC; two step-sons, Richard Pennington and Robbie Pennington and wife Debbie all of Wilmington, NC; a brother, Clyde Palmer of Lincolnton, NC; two sisters, Dorothy Chapman and husband Wayne and Ann Beal and husband Burley, all of Lincolnton; 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, March 5, 2012 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Crumpler Funeral Home-Raeford. Graveside Services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake with the rendering of full military honors.
