Mama, mom, mother, there are so many endearing words that we can use to describe her most for the angel that she is.
Edna Thelwell was born on September 15, 1937, in Kingston, Jamaica W.I. to Doris Bennett and Richard Brown.
She started her career working with the Post Office for over 25 years in various positions as a Postal Clerk, and Post Mistress in Aberdeen and Balaclava, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica W.I.
She then migrated to the United States 1986. where she was entrusted with the care of Sophie Auster for several years in New York. She then spent 20 years in Florida before returning to New York. She spent the past 4 ½ years living with her daughter Arlene and caregiver Debbie.
Those who came in contact with her, described her as a kind, humble, and gentle soul - always smiling and pleasant. However uncomfortable she was, Edna was never the one to complain.
Edna leaves to join her husband Henry (George), her mother Doris, father Richard, aunt Marion (Teacher), and sister Pearl. To cherish her memory, she leaves her children Anthony (Tony), Ewan, Grace, and Arlene (Pepsi). Sister Thelma (Dotty). Aunt Madelin. Daughter-in-law Hope and Son-in- law Lennox Campbell. Sisters-in-law Faith (Audrey), Cynthia (Bunny) and Karis (Dawn). Grandchildren: Lennox Jr, Ewan Jr, Samantha, Jamie and Nigel. Great grandchildren: Zayvion, Myles, Zoey, Skyler, Zane and Cali and godchildren, also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
May her soul rise in paradise and rest in eternal peace.
