Anne -Marie was the daughter of Sauveur Ade and Thelisma Saint Louis. She was born in Saint Marc, Haiti, in 1936; she attended her elementary school in Saint-Marc and Port-au Prince and obtained her baccalaureate from the Lycee des Jeunes Filles. After graduating in Nursing, she started a long career in nursing.
Her career began as Miss Ade in Saint-Marc and Deschapelles, and then changed to Miss Thomas when she married Clemenceau Thomas in 1963. In 1971 she moved to New York where she received a BS in Healthcare Management and Nursing.
Anne Marie is survived by three children, eight grand children, and the impressive extended family known as the 755 Eastern Parkway or the 90-02 199th Street Family. To the surviving Anne-Marie remains a gift of life, an amazing woman, a generous and a loving mother and friend.
The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses, the family members and friends for their care and love. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the National Cancer Society.
The funeral will be celebrated at 9:30 AM at the Incarnation Church, located at 89-43 Francis Lewis, Queens Village, NY 11427.
