I knew Ronnie as a young boy, he and my daughter grew up together.  I know his parents and siblings love him dearly.  My heart goes out to all of his immediate family, and my prayers go with him now that he is with Heavenly Father.

I remember driving from our farm to the South Prairie Post Office in the 1970s and seeing two boys, Raymie and Ron in town. I remember the South Prairie Baseball Field, the Hillstrom Cabinet Shop, and the South Prairie Store. You will always be Rayme's younger brother to me that made my sister Jenny and me laugh and smile. God bless you and your family Ronnie.  Memory Eternal.

Losing a child is always difficult. Have worked for Ray during Ron's formative years, I witnessed Rays'love and caring for Ron. A parents grief is always great but it is made ever greater when one of our children are called home way too early.

Having worked for Ray for many years I had the opportunity to watch "Ronnie" grow up. I also was able to witness how much Ray loved and cared for all his kids. I share in the families sorrow, A parents' grief is always great but it's made worse when our children have so many good years in front of them.

It's been many years since I've seen you Ron. I was so saddened by the news of your unexpected passing, truly a tragedy. Our lives are all so precious and short, and with your sudden passing we are all reminded of this. I wish you peace and eternal happiness in heaven. We will always have Van Halen 1984 and matching Def Leppard British flag shirts. Gotta love the 80's! Peace be with you Ron, I have always had good memories of our friendship. I wish your family strength through their loss.

I want to thank the Hillstrom family for having the service at Rivers Edge Church (Essembly of God Church) because the last service there was with Ron for Brian Meek and that was one of Rons best friends. R.I P. Ron and Brian!

Ron, we haven't talked in 5 years. I always enjoyed your company and growing up in south prairie was tolerable because of friends like you.  Your life was cut way too short and it saddens me deeply. Uncle Ron, I can hardly believe what happened and that I'll have to wait so long to see you again. You always had such a warm presence and were loving and knew how to have fun. I know you would always do your best for our family and were the type of person that would give your life for any of our family members if needed. I wish I could have spent more time with you. I know everyone wishes that. I thank God every day for putting you in my life. I know it was no accident you were my uncle. I'm just happy that you are at peace now with God. There is no better place to be. It reminds me of a song at church that we would sing. It has a line saying that being with God "is better than life". I look forward to you showing me, "the new guy", around up there in heaven. I know we'll have some good laughs! Thank you for loving us unconditionally! I love you. See you soon!

I love you Ron and can't say how much I miss you but I know you are at peace now. Ron was more than my brother he was my friend. I've always been proud to say Ron is my brother. I love you and I know I will see you again, love your little sister Mandy.

Ron was a huge part of me growing up!!!! I will never forget his contagious smile sense of humor and mostly his sense of adventure!!! Gone but not forgotten I will forever hold a piece of him in my heart.   My prayers go out to his family love always " Hoffman junior".
