April 10, 1942 - October 18, 2017
Jessie Diaz went home to be with our Lord on October 18, 2017 with his family by his side.
He was born on April 10, 1942 in Worland Wyoming to Juan and Tomasa Diaz.
He grew up in Wapato Washington and graduated from Wapato High school in 1960. He later moved to Tacoma Washington where he worked for 31 years at West Coast Grocery and retired.
Jessie met and married Sharon Arneson on May 20, 1961 in Yakima Washington. They were married for 56 ½ years. During their retirement they enjoyed traveling and treated themselves to various trips, one being Maui. He loved it there.
Jessie loved working in his yard, watching football, playing pool and being with his three daughters and their families especially on holidays.
Jessie is survived by his wife Sharon, his three daughters and their husbands; LaRinda and Kevin Crooks, Kimberely and Brian Jackson, Desiree and Eric Molver. In addition, he has five beloved grandchildren: Carson and Mackenzie Crooks, Conner Crooks, Alexandra Molver and Jensen Molver. His brothers, Louis and Felix Diaz, and sisters Esther Fann, Monica Diaz Garcia and Rachel Molano also survive him.
We would like to thank the staff at God Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup Wa. For the excellent care Jessie received.
He was loved deeply and will be missed every day.
