Grace Morey of South Hill, passed away on May 16, 2015. She was born on Oct. 20, 1933 in Abilene, Texas to Seaborn and Gladys (Moore) Mayberry. She came with her family to a small town of Pacheco near Concord, Ca in 1940. A career military wife, she is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard H. Morey of Puyallup; sons, Walter W. Morey, James A. Morey and Robert S. & wife Donna Morey; five grandsons and one great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin brother, Frank DeVerle Mayberry, three other brothers, George, Howard and Walter and her sister Frances. The Navy Seabees took the family to many places, Guam, Leesburg, Virginia, Ca, Chula Vista, Port Hueneme, Concord, Ca.,Adak, Alaska and finally Whidbey Island, Wa. She will be inurned at Tahoma National Cemetery.
