Harry Allen Joslin Jr.

Harry Allen Joslin Jr. was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on August 24, 1942 from the union of Harry Allen Joslin Sr. and Aida Goss. Harry passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 4:40am.

A few words to describe Harry include friendly, patient, caring, sweet and always funny. He was also a family man. He was married 3 times throughout his life.

He is survived by his first wife Veronica; his second wife Pat and his current wife Jean.

Children; Danny, John, Michael “Charlie”, Mellissa and Jamie.

Grandchildren; John, Justin, James, Jessica J, Emily, David, Jessica W, Jared, Ryan, DJ, Jacob, Megan, Austin.

Two Great Grandchildren Sophia and Barrett.

In October of 2023, Harry was informed he had developed bladder cancer. He went through scopes to take out the cancer, had chemo treatments and many different types of scans and test but unfortunately the cancer came back in March and was too far advanced. There were no more treatment options left to pursue. He had been in 2 different hospitals and then had a stroke, so he went home to spend his remaining days with his family. At the time of his passing, Harry was surrounded by loving family.

A gathering of family and friends visitation for Harry will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 635 E. Marion Ave, Punta Gorda, Florida 33950. Following the gathering of family and friends visitation will be a celebration of life service at 3:00 PM.
