She was born in Beech Hill, TN, on July 2, 1927, retired from the Giles County Court House, preceded in death by parents, Herman Dean and Florence Eubertha Newton, husband, Thomas pierce, sister, Elizabeth Felker, brother, James Newton, member of Odd Fellows Hall Church of Christ.

Visitation will be on Friday, 8-4-17, from 4PM to 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 8-5-17, at 11AM, at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial to follow in Johns Cemetery.

Survivors are: sons, Raymond Pierce and wife Brenda of Pulaski, TN, Randy Pierce and wife Lynn of Pulaski, TN, daughter, Alice Foster and husband Wayne of Pulaski, TN, brothers, Clarence Newton of Pulaski, TN, Thurman Newton of Pulaski, TN, Porter Newton of Lawrenceburg, TN, sister, Velma Mitchell of Pulaski, TN, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 great, great grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, 2 step great grandchildren.
