Villard D Palmer

Villard was born in Bodenham, TN on November 21, 1925 to Marion and Willie Mae Davis Palmer. He was a life long truck driver for Pulaski Highway Express until he retired. Villard had a love of bowling, playing golf, and he is of the Methodist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers William Henry Palmer, Charles Wesley Palmer, and James Edward Palmer; son Fred Royce Palmer.

Visitation will be held from 1-2pm Sunday September 29, 2024 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home with Funeral Service to follow at 2pm. Interment will be at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.

Villard is survived by his loving wife of 76 years Nellie Palmer; daughters Beverly Palmer Bryant (Ralph) of Clarksville, TN, and Dorothy Palmer Faulkner (Phil) of Hopkinsville, KY; sister Martha Marie Mote of Lawrenceburg, TN; grandchildren Adam, Daniel, Morgan, Emily, and Kelly; great grandchildren Meredith, Natalie, Jackson, Palmer, Aspen, Quinn, and Sadie; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
