Mary Louise Robison

Mary Louise Smith Robison, 83, died Friday. November 18th, 2016 in St. Cloud, Florida. Louise was born August 2, 1933 in Minor Hill, TN to Mary Myrtle and Byrtle Smith. She served in the Air Force 1951-1954. After moving to Florida from Michigan in 1971, she worked for a short time for Dr. Robert Rao before finding her professional home at the City of Kissimmee. Starting in the utility department, she easily transitioned into the computer age and retired from Information Technology in 1995 after 23 years. Louise enjoyed travel, especially to her beloved home of Tennessee where she resided part time for many years in Pulaski.

She is survived by 5 children, Buddy Joe Phelps, Fresno, CA, Sharon (Marty) Melton, St. Cloud, FL, Randy Robison, St. Cloud, FL, Valarie (Lester) Staggs, Lewisburg, TN, Lori (Alan) McKosky, St. Cloud, FL; six grandchildren, Christina Dalton, Shannon Beasley, Kristen McKosky, Nathan Staggs, Mary Alice Staggs and James Matthew Staggs, four great grandchildren, Mileena Cavalcante, Quess Cavalcante, Gavin Dalton and Trent Dalton. She is also survived by sisters, Sadie (David) Malone, Pulaski, TN, Sarah (Bob) Turner, Scottsboro, AL, brother James Rufus Smith (Faye) Jacksonville, FL and sister in law Claudean Smith, Galveston, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Robison and brother, BT Smith.

Arrangements entrusted to Grissom Funeral Home, Kissimmee, FL. Visitation will be at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Pulaski, TN on Tuesday November 22 3:00-7:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Wednesday November 23 10:00 am. followed by burial at New Zion Cemetery, Giles County, TN
