She was born in Giles County, TN on December 6, 1924, retired from Genesco, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maitland H. Carey and brother, John Walker Phillips.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5PM to 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 11-1-2012, at 2PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial in Maplewood Cemetery.
Survivors are: son, Steve Carey of Pulaski, TN, several nieces and nephews.
