Kum Sim Hewgley

Kum Sim was born April 27, 1942 in South Korea to Chae Chun So and No Yong Pak So. She was a homemaker and member of New Zion Baptist Church. Her interest were gardening, sewing, quilting, crocheting and playing cards. Kum Sim loved her Church, reading her Bible, and her family, and her family says she always wanted to feed everyone! She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 56 yrs. Mark Hewgley.

Visitation will be 12-2pm Wednesday October 16, 2024 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with Funeral to follow at 2pm. Interment will be in New Zion Cemetery.

Survivors include her sons John Hewgley (Emily) of Minor Hill, James Hewgley (Jennifer) of Pulaski, daughters Kathy Robbins (Christian) of Pulaski, Susan Hewgley (B.J. Brymer) of Pulaski, grandchildren Caitlin, Jay, Zane, Taylor, Rachel, Kayla, Olivia, Graci, Emma, Charlee, great grandchildren Kirsten, Matthew and Dawson.
