Jessie Mae Townsend

She was born in Leoma, TN on April 7, 1930 and was retired from Maremont Gabriel and Walmart. She was a member of Booth Chapel Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Edward and Mary Ethel Stephenson Monroe and husband of 65 years, Tyson Townsend.

Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Allen and James of Minor Hill, TN, Joan Sacharnoski and Bill of Minor Hill, TN, her sisters-in-law, Sue & Charles Goar of La Vergne, TN, Martha Townsend of Texas, her brother-in -law, Leo Townsend of Campbellsville, her special niece, Peggy Townsend of Lawrenceburg, her 4 grandchildren, Tangie Barnickle and Gene, Jason Jones & Leah, Jennifer Sacharnoski Nelson, Jeremy Sacharnoski and Juliana, her 11 great grandchildren, and her 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2020, at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. with the burial to follow at Minor Hill Cemetery.
