She was born January 15, 1926 in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Samuel Robert and Eva Mae Dawson Morgan. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Bob, Bill, and Kenneth Morgan.
Survivors include her daughters, Sallie (Jim) Williams of Linden, TN and Sue (Lyndell) Fox of Columbia, TN, her son, Chuck (Jane) McCormack of Pulaski, Eight grandchildren, sixteen great- grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
Also, a big thank you to the caregivers Gina Robinson, Jan Glover, Dianne Breyfogle and the Hospice family for giving her such great care and comfort in her final days.
Dorothy spent her life farming in the Sumac community with her husband, Charles, for many years and both enjoyed selling their quality vegetables on the Pulaski square and other farmers markets. She also worked at Campbell's Factory Outlet in Pulaski and served as a Substitute Teacher at Beech Hill School in the 1970's. Later they moved to Lake Logan where they both enjoyed the lake life and fishing. She enjoyed quilting, knitting and crocheting in her spare time. She was also an avid reader, reading several books a month. She was also known for her cooking and the ability to throw together a meal in a moment's notice. Her house was always full of family and friends.
There will be a Graveside Service on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Giles Memory Gardens and a Memorial Service to be announced at a later date.
