He was born in the Bryson Community on November 17, 1932, retired from Amana Corp., member of the American Legion, UAW, and served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coleman Clifford Franklin, Sr. and Emma York Franklin, his wife, Amy Ruth Gardner Franklin, and his son, Ricky Franklin.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in Maplewood Cemetery, Pulaski, TN.
He is survived by his sons, Vincent Massey of Pulaski, TN, Kenny Franklin of Bryson, TN, Mickie Franklin of Bryson, TN, Barry Franklin of Pulaski, TN, and William Franklin of Nashville, TN, his daughters, Teresa Franklin & Robert of Huntsville, AL, and Cynthia Nelson of Nashville, TN, his sisters, Cindy Surles of Elkton, TN, and Barbara Faye Grigsby of Pulaski, TN, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
