Sidney William Housh

Sidney W. Housh, 91, passed away October 23, 2018. Born July 31, 1927 in Matheson, Colorado. Sidney moved to Pueblo, Colorado in 1947. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Phyllis Irene Baker Housh. He will be lovingly remembered by 3 children, Barbara (Richard) Stewart, Michael (Bonnie) Housh and Becky (Jimmy) Lee. He also leaves to cherish his memory, 7 grandchildren, Jennifer (Keith) Stewart-Woodworth and Elizabeth (Dana) Forbes, Clint, Alex and Tamara Housh, Nicholas (Krisi) Lee and Patrick Lee; 5 great grandchildren, Caeleigh Stewart, Jonathon Stewart, Derick Forbes, Colton Lee and Alexiss Lee. He was preceded in death by parents, Robert Ray and Grace Wilma King Housh; 2 brothers, Eldon and Elmer Housh; 3 sisters, Roberta (Berta) Edwards, Ellen Ladd and Mary (Barney) Hamacher; and granddaughter Stephanie Housh.

Sid worked for C.F. & I Steel Mill for 42 years as a crane millwright. Member AF&AM #17. Member of the V.F.W. Post #61. Member of the Colorado Consistory - 32nd degree. Member of Temple Baptist Church. Sidney devoted many hours to the civic work for the Hyde Park Neighborhood. Visitation at Imperial Funeral Home 9 am - 10 am Friday, November 2nd, 2018. Service to follow at 10 am Imperial Chapel with Rev. Waudell Maple officiating. Masonic rites to be held at Imperial Memorial Gardens. Interment, Last Supper, Imperial Memorial Gardens, 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, Colorado. Family will receive relatives and friends following the service.
