Sharon Kay Weldon, born on June 2, 1948; passed on October 20, 2012. Sharon went to be with her friends and family in heaven after an eight year fight for her life. She is preceded in death by her son; her mother and father, Loren and Katie Zimmerman; and sisters, Joyce Kinney and Dorothy Starcer. She is survived by her loving husband, Jack, of forty-seven years; her puppy, Shelly; and numerous other relatives. Sharon worked 27 years for the City of Pueblo; attended Centennial High School; PCC and USC. She loved to travel and winter in warm places, and enjoyed going to new places and meeting new people. Her life was cut way too short by her illness. Memorial Service will be 2 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2012, at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home. Donations may be made in Sharon’s memory to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home office.
