Roy started out as a child of an Evangelist/Pastor traveling over the states, he later pursued his own ministry and reached many for Christ. Roy was an awesome carpenter, he constructed homes and was part of many building projects for ministries. Roy sang and played guitar and piano for years. Later, after walking through very difficult times, God gave him songs of testimony which were performed and recorded by Wings of Praise. Roy loved to write and study his Bible. He was in the process of penning a new song and writing out his testimony into book form which we anticipate finishing in the near future. You could always depend on reading his thoughts of encouragement on Facebook. Roy was the Pastor of Zion's Temple from 1995-2002. At the time of His death Roy was serving as co-pastor of Redemption at Pueblo where he has been a faithful member and teacher of Sunday school and Wednesday Bible Study for the last 15 years. He had also been ordained as an Elder with The Church of God In Christ which he was very proud to be a part of.
Roy was married to "his love", Alice on August 22, 2008, whom he traveled, sang and ministered with. His famous words to his wife were "For Life or Longer". Roy loved his children and was an awesome father and mentor. He was always had an ear to listen and a shoulder to lean on.
Roy will be missed by anyone he ever came in contact with.
