Linda Bartolo passed away early Sunday, August 28, 2022. She was born April 6, 1928 to parents Joseph and Josephine Corsentino. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank; her daughter Margaret; her parents; her parents-in-law Rocco and Maria Bartolo; brothers and brothers- and sisters-in-law Sam and Connie Corsentino, Andrew and Betty Corsentino, James Corsentino, Helen and Harry Mosco, and Alvira and Charles Mauro; nieces Marian Jo Allen, Kathleen Mauro, and Pattyanne Corsentino. She is survived by her children Frank (Diana) Bartolo, Jodene (Doug) Kissler, Michael (Kyle) Bartolo, Anthony (Sandy) Bartolo, David (Joelen) Bartolo; grandchildren Jenilyn Bartolo (Fred Deschenes), Mark (Katy) Kissler, Stephen Kissler (Ally Freedy), Andrew Bartolo, Samantha Bartolo (Grey Shipman), James Bartolo, Dante Bartolo, Lauren Bartolo, Nicole Bartolo, and Kristi Bartolo; and great grandchildren Vera, Margaret, Francis, and Luke Kissler. Also survived by special cousin Rosetta (Anthony) Pecoraro, sister-in-law Patty Corsentino, as well as her treasured nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Linda, a native of Pueblo, began her childhood in Vineland. She was a tireless caregiver all her life, raising six children and always working hard. She shared her talents as a volunteer and as an excellent baker and cook. One could never leave her house hungry. She has been a member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Blende since its inception, a charter member of the St. Joseph’s CCW, Council of Catholic Women, and a member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society. Special thanks to Fr. Joseph Vigil, Angelique Gallegos, Sangre De Cristo Hospice, and friends and family whose care and support carry on Linda’s legacy of love. A rosary will be held Friday September 2, 2022 at 9:15 am at St Joseph Parish, followed by Funeral Mass at 10am, and burial at Roselawn. In lieu of flowers and food, donations may be made to St. Joseph Parish, 1145 S. Aspen Road, Pueblo CO 81006, or the Poor Clare Fund in the care of the Catholic Foundation, 101 N. Greenwood St., Pueblo CO 81003.
