Joseph Anthony DiPietro, 49, passed away on April 10, 2018 in Pueblo, Colorado. Joe was preceded in death by his loving parents, Peter and Annette DiPietro. Joe is survived by his brother, Robert (Susan) DiPietro; nephew, Anthony (Brittany Kliesen) Cordova; niece, Caitlin DiPietro; uncle, Henry DePetro; aunt, Josephine Carleo and numerous cousins and friends. Joe also had a special bond with friends, Joe and Ellie Strilich, Kim Dominguez and all of his extended Kirkland Construction family in which he shared many special times. Joe was a graduate of Pueblo South High School; and continued to root for his Colts, attending many athletic events over the years. After graduating from The University of Southern Colorado, Joe went into a career in accounting and bookkeeping here in Pueblo. He also made many friends through his work at the State Fair, delivering newspapers, and cruising the mall on a Saturday afternoon. In addition to attending several events in the community, many Sundays you would find Joe in front of a TV rooting for his beloved Dallas Cowboys. Despite his small stature, all that knew Joe were well aware that he had a larger than life heart, and would do anything for his friends and family. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Life Care Center and the Parkview ICU staff for their continued and compassionate care. In lieu of food and flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Joe’s honor to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society through the funeral home. Viewing will be 5-7 p.m., Monday, April 16, 2018, at TG McCarthy Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 17, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
