Born in Monett, Missouri, she was the daughter of Clyde and Minnie Sweany. She had 4 sisters (Anne, Ruth, ‘Tiny’, Katherine) and 2 brothers (Jim, Dean) who all proceed her in death, along with her daughter, Connie Dillow.
She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ. She worked many years at St. Mary Corwin Hospital and enjoyed volunteering at Spann and Irving schools where daughters Patty and Connie taught. She enjoyed going to the Eagles and working during the bingo games.
“Granny” truly enjoyed seeing and playing with grandkids and great grandkids. She enjoyed bingo and playing cards. Even in her final days, she cherished holding all the babies.
Mrs. Dillow had 6 daughters – Suzan, Patty, Connie, Carol, Charlie, and Lisa; and 1 chosen son – Andrew (his Mama Jean); 18 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren – all of whom she was very proud.
The Dillow family is very grateful for the care of our mother and compassion shown our family by Bloom Hospice and Brookdale (Briargate) Living Center (Colorado Springs).
The funeral service will be held on Friday July 21, 2023 at 10am at Southwest Church of Christ in Pueblo, with a viewing prior to the service. Jeanne will be laid to rest beside her beloved Randy at Imperial Memorial Gardens cemetery after the service. A small reception will then be held at the Church.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.tgmccarthy.com for the Dillow family.
