Frank Richard Urban

Frank Richard Urban, 81, passed away December 16, 2021 in Pueblo, Colorado. He was the husband of Judith Eleanor Urban, they shared 58 years of marriage. Born in Braddock, PA he was the son of Barbara Josephine Bucar and Frank Michael Urban. Frank was very proud of his Croatian heritage. He graduated from Trafford High School, the United States Air Force Academy and had an MBA from California State University Sacramento. Frank was an entrepreneur throughout his life. He was an active member of his Academy graduating class, 1962, the original “RTB’s”. He was an avid birder, loved camping, traveling and enjoyed many years at their retreat in Baja, Mexico. Frank was amazing at designing, customizing and doing the construction work of remodeling their houses and RVs through the years; he always had a project going and rarely sat still. He is survived by his wife Judy and his children Frank (Melissa), Candice, and Benjamin (Monica), and his grandchildren Cyrus and Avery Evans, and Seneca and Colter Urban. Frank is also survived by his sister Margaret Ivkovich of Trafford, PA.

The memorial service with military honors will be held at the United States Air Force Academy at a future date.
