Christina was born in Helper, Utah on February 14, 1931. She moved to Pueblo with mother, brother, and sister after the death of her father. She graduated from Centennial High School. Christina worked briefly at St. Mary Corwin hospital, then 11 years at AT&T (MaBell). Christina was a charter member of Pueblo Lodge #90 Elkettes, now disbanded, and a longtime member of Dante Alighieri Society. A cancer survivor, the family respectfully asks that donations in her name be made to breast Cancer Society or to American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) in lieu of food or flowers. She will be remembered by family and friends as a warm, caring person and will be greatly missed.
There will be no viewing at her request. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Imperial Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Darron Wilson officiating. Graveside committal will follow. The family thanks Suncrest Hospice who, though with her only a few days, their nurses and staff took kindly to Christina, showing us, with concern and efficiency, how to keep her comfortable.
