Carmen Baca, 92, of Pueblo passed away January 18, 2022. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest Baca and son Michael Baca. She is also preceded in death by her parents Steve and Adella Vensor, also by siblings Ruben (Helen) Vigil, William “Bill“ Vensor, Malcolm Vensor, Eva (Albino) Vensor, Amy (Nino) Chavez.
She is survived by her sons Gary (Susie) Baca, Kevin (JoAnn) Baca, grandsons Michael (Linda) Baca Matthew and (Rayna) Baca, two Godsons Stephen Vensor and Bernard Garcia, two special sisters-in-law‘s Toni and Sharon Vensor. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many, many friends.
Carmen graduated from Holy Trinity Catholic School and worked at Lerner shops for many years as a manager until the store closed, when she went to work at Convergys for 10 years.
Special thanks to Monsignor Mark Plewka, Dr. Arline, Dr. Alanzo Pacheco and his nurse Liz, Dr. Travis Archuleta, and also to Sangre de Cristo Hospice staff especially Stacy and Ranae.
Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday January 26, 10 AM Shrine of St Therese Catholic Church with an inurnment to follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens. The family requests all attendants please wear a mask.
