San Miguel County, New Mexico in 1925. He honorably and proudly served in the US Navy in the Pacific campaign during World War II. He worked at CF&I for 36 dedicated years. He enjoyed bowling, billiards,
and fishing with his dog, Buddy and his children. He was an avid Broncos, Nuggets and Rockies fan
and a loving and dedicated family man who took pride in the accomplishments of his children and their families. He was surrounded by his loved ones during his peaceful journey into Heaven. After 71 years of marriage, Carlos is survived by his wife Amadita (Amy) Sanchez (nee Montoya). He is also survived by his children; Daughters Carla (Joe) Gutierrez, Arlene (Mike) Aragon, Irene (Patrick) Laydon and his sons Gil (Barbara) Sanchez and Christopher (Linda) Sanchez ,11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, sister
Ida and brother Ernest. Viewing will be Nov.17th, 5-7pm, followed by a Rosary at 7pm at Holy Family Church. Funeral Mass is Friday November 18th,10am at Holy Family Church with procession to Imperial Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow at Holy Family Church. Special thank you to Sangre de Cristo
